About the boat

Newport 41’s are known as relatively fast and notably comfortable off-shore cruisers. The Newport 41 is decidedly heavier than most new boats her size with 8,215 lbs of ballast. This makes her stiff on the wind and steady under foot; great sea-keeping qualities. The combination of significant weight and an easily driven hull allows her to display excellent manners.

SV 'Ohana sails like a dream and loves to "get moving" when the winds pick up.  We have sailed her extensively in Pacific Northwest and Canadian waters. She was neglected when we purchased her and since then have remodeled, re-fit, rebuilt, and renewed her into what she is today.  'Ohana is hawaiian for family.
